THANKS EVERYONE. That was our first WIN, so it is of course special and although it was in our home state, it was on grounds we never get to train on or run on.

YES, Linda won the limited with a chessie (and one heck of a dog at that). They were well deserving, it was one heck of a difficult trial. The land blind went from 60 to 20 dogs!!!!

Another really neat thing, AMATEURS won ALL the stakes. The derby winner Chip and Dave have 30 derby points now!

The Limited land blind was a land/water blind combination. It was about 300 yards and there were at least 7 big hazards you HAD to hit including pine trees, angling across roads/dikes and water then into a swampy area where it was hard to see the dog and they had trouble hearing whistles. It just ate everyones lunch. Unfortunately, there were some dogs that got to the end of the blind in just a few whistles that couldn't be seen and hence didn't get the bird. It was definitely a challenge.

The Amateur went from 32 dogs in the land blind to 15. It was also a challenge but you could at least see the dog at the end of the blind.
