Hi there,

We had our Suzy spay last thursday. I have had the vet look at since and take a sample of the fluid they said it didn't look infected and it doesn't seem to be getting any larger.

My question is how long can I expect it to be full of fluid before I go back to the vet have them correct it?

Were really worried about this.

I recently went through the same thing with Boykin. She had a seroma the size of an orange, which looks horrible on a 25 lb dog. It took about a week for the seroma to reach its largest size. When it did not go away, the vet completed drained the seroma. It swelled back up the day after draining, but went away soon after.
