A friend of a friend owns the below female and they are searching for a stud dog. They know I often post here and asked me to get peoples opinions for their stud. I don't know anything about her strengths or weaknesses so can't help there. What I do know is they want a competetive FT titled yellow or yellow factored dog, good looks is a plus too. She is sired by FC-AFC BLACKWATER RUDY and out of AFC ABE'S MAGIC MAGGIE. http://www.gooddoginfo.com/gdc/Asp/viewpedigreecolor.asp?DogNo=69658

Any advice or opinions that I can pass along would be appreciated. Thanks, Travis

I have a FC AFC COURIER

Grandson. The sire is Blue Sky's Code Three "CODY" (?) owned by Jim Thompson in Mi. I know Jim, trained with him a couple of times. Cody is working on his Grand and ALL AGE.
My pup is 9month's old. Only complaint I have is that he wasn't born Trained
Natural Retrieve to almost hand. When we first started working he would come flying by me @ mach 3 and drop the bumper by my feet. go past me turn around and look for the next one. I worked on it now he comes back to heel and every now and then he will drop it. I say "GET IT" "HAND" he picks it up and holds it for me.

Man i really Like him. VERY TRACATABLE and supremely Intelligent.

Jim is an Amatuer who is a Firefighter. He has done all of cody's Training.

I am not sure if he has a website or not.

I know Chris Cornelius from Marsh Mutt Manor Labs used him as a stud.(Where I got my Pup). I think she is going to use him again.

if you want I will get you Jim's Phone Number.

P.S> Did a quick Search and i think Thundermyst Kennels used him as a Stud.

FARGO, his pups are fantastic and selling.

BOWIE, haven't seen any breedings (yet), but that dog is awesome!!!! he is on Karl Gunzers truck, FC by 3 yrs old. One of the best marking dogs I've ever been around and he hits the water like a freight train. I would look at a pup from him very hard.

My daughter and I have a litter mate sister of Bowie and I know what you mean about a freight train and their marking ability. I have a daughter of hers, sired by Trumarcs Cordon Bleu***, that is an especially nice high-roller as well.

You were unquiring about a yellow FC or yellow factored stud -- Angie gave many great choices -- except Click -- as much as I like him (my pup's sire) he's not yellow factored -- I would agree with Pow or Ruger or Ranger -- not sure if Patton throws yellow either
What about Gunns' CNFC TNT Explosion (out of Lean Mac) -- very very handsome yellow

OOps!!! Missed the yellow part. Dang that speed reading.

No go on Patton. He doesn't throw yellow. Maybe a sibling does.

What about Deuce? He is a littermate to most of these dogs. I have a pup out of my MHR and Deuce and I am VERY, VERY impressed with this guy. He could be a very competetive field trial competitor, if the right person were to take him from me. Nick Uithol is great to deal with as well, a great guy! Last I knew, Deuce's stud fee was $800. Good Luck.

Nope, just tryin' to stay up with current studs. Get them in my memory bank so to speak.

My little angel   is hell on birds, positively nuts about them. She's great on the run around with a bumper in her mouth too.

Bowie's registered name is

Colonel Bowie's Revenge

He is a big, handsome, yellow and oh so very very impressive. He can mark like "Nitro" used to be able to mark, just incredible.

His sire is Watermark's the Boss, dam is Lakepark Magic Mornin Maize SH. His birthday is 3/2003 and sometime around there he got his FC.
