There *might* be a reason some are afraid to post about anything that relates to training.
Welcome to RTF Andrew!I'll start it off... I'm Andrew and new around here. I am expecting my first pup on June 23rd. I've been reading a lot of great info on training from a lot of knowledgeable trainers and look forward to working with my first retriever. Thanks for all the tips and keep them coming!
Many of those "guests" are probably members who just didn't sign/log in.
That could be....but if you aren't logged in ya can't post. Many of those "guests" are probably members who just didn't sign/log in.
Ken! Surely that wasn't directed at me!!Although I do sometimes resemble that photo before my coffee....now if I just had some maple syrup to sweeten my attitude....
that is very cool,I get my 10 month old golden back from the trainer in a week. So, I imagine I will start having some questions as I continue her training.
Hummm...Not sure how to take that.that is very cool,

BPVigs where are you getting your pup from? I am getting mine from Shannon Brown in International Falls, MN. I am also getting him in June and thought maybe we were getting them from the same litter.Greetings from MN. I'm new this month. We had to put our yellow down last October (11.5 y/o male). We are awaiting our new pup in June.
One of the reasons I don't post is because the pup we are getting is a British Lab. I've seen what happens when you mention "British" on here. The can of worms gets opened!
I do love all the training info on here. It's been a long time since I trained a lab, so any and all info is great!
John, When you start taking the time to answer newbie questions thoughtfully, fairly and respectfully......well, um,.....I'll have to see it to believe it...
