Hello all-
I have been lurking for a long time, doing research on breeds and dogs, trying to make a decision about a gun dog. I recently have put down a deposit on Wind River's Lucy Lou from Lee at Wind River Labs.
She was sired by Cosmo's Concerto Charlie, and the dam is Mackenzie Souix Hunter.
She is an 8 month old, and I can tell you I am excited like a little kid. When Lee is done putting her through FF, I will be taking her home. I will be working out of 10 minute retriever and smartworks, and this will be my first gun dog, so I am sure I will have plenty of questions.

I am a waterfowl hunter who sometimes does upland, and I didn't have much intent to do any hunt tests, but that sure seems like it might be a fun pastime for the off season.
