I know this is a retriever list, but we all love dogs...

I lost my Great Pyrenees in February due to osteosarcoma. He was my gentle protector and best friend and I was devastated... When I called his breeder to let her know, I heard the distinct sound of puppies in the background. Needless to say - I now have a new pyr. With a bit of black shoe polish and a shave, he could be a very large Lab... :)

This was Louie's (Halellujah's Toulouse's Jean) first day home. He was exhausted after the plane ride.

We visit my father in the mountains, so of course it snows. Louie took it in stride. This is his first snow at 10 weeks old.

The gang minus Twist (who could not make the trip to Aspen as she was training). L to R: Louie, Athena (mini Weiner expert ankle biter) and Jodi (retired HT, FT dog who is very tolerant). I am the windblown human in the middle.

Someone once said puppy breath is the best cure for a broken heart. So true.

I love Grt. Pyrs. I had two as a kid. They were great friends and bigger than my brother and I. Our neighbor had some from working stock though, and they lived witht he sheep and ate sheep feed. They were cool too, just a different cool.

Moira,
So very very sorry about the loss of your best friend back in February. I know it was awful for you. But I'm thrilled you have the world's cutest new best friend! How absolutely adorable!!!!
Give the not so little guy a hug and congratulate him for having you.
Take Care,
Becky
