Derby Results:

1st: Peakebrook?s Secret Weapon

The Derby careers for our first litters are now over. The three pups we kept wound up with 70 derby points (Dozer 31, Bond 28, and Ripley with 11). Each dog had at least two wins. I am sure there would have been more points if they didn?t keep beating each other.

Special thanks to:

Hugh Arthur who worked so hard honing their skills.

Al Arthur for showing what the dogs could do on weekends.

Charlie Ross for raising Dozer.

Dex Doolittle for raising Bond.

Mary Lake/ Pat Burns for raising Ripley (now owned by David Baty).

Dozer was from a singleton litter. Good luck to all those who have a pup from the repeat litter. I know of one that will start his derby career this weekend.

James,

Ripley had a great week hunting in SD. He also had 14 points, 2 firsts, 1 second, and 1 fourth. Finished 7 of 8 or 9 trials. I'm proud to own him.
