As usual, I have no vested interest in this auction.
Jerry, I think someone was running up the price on you hoping to get you to bite and got hooked themselves. $178 is a lot to pay for a book that sold for $25.00 to $30.00.Jerry said:I quit at $56 then just zap, zap, zap it was $178 with less than an hour to go.AmiableLabs said:I think this is one of the harder to find volumes -- Click.

While I have been accused of blowing my share of "hot air," this is one claim I'm pretty sure I didn't make. Book appraising is not one of my few talents. If I'm not mistaken KG said at that time that one could expect to pay around $200.00 for a copy.
Might have been ducksoup that ran me out.ducksoup said:I quit at $55 -- seems I hadsame copy in 80s and cost $25 or $35 -- now it hits $178 on E Bay -- I didn't want it that bad
