I had intended to do another session on the table this morning. I was getting everything ready and my dog took the bumper out of my hand before I got him on the table. So, I did his FF lesson on the ground. He did good I think. It was a short session in which I pinched him a few times and he had a snappy response each time. I was having to hold him back for a few of them. I think I'll stay on the ground from here on out.

Your dog will tell you when you have progressed too fast. It sounds like you are doing good and your dog has a good atitude. Progressing too slowly is not good. The tough part with FF can be deciding if the dog doesn't understand or is being defiant.

Having a dog that is going after bumper as you describe your dog is great. It sounds like they understand. FF can go very quickly with a dog that gets it and is compliant.

Have fun,

Tom
