Just a quick little warning.... :!:

The content of the video may be okay (didn't wait for the download), but all the banner ads at that site are adult oriented. Just a word of caution before you open the link.

That shark was dead! For sure you would have seen him flipping his body and tail around if he had any life left in him. Not to mention I'd probably kill my dog if the fish didnt for jumping out of the boat while fishing!

My husband used to run a charter fishing boat and our old lab went on every trip. He got excited when a fish was landed, but he would still mind

I don't think it was dead. Look at it when the dog first jumps in. It is swimming on the bottom. It is one tired shark after being caught, but I don't think it is dead

Forget the hook, I have had a nuber of dogs get hooked. IT IS THE TEETH THAT YOU NEED TO WORRY ABOUT!! Yes the owner is an idiot.

FWIW- I see many, many sharks give up like that after a prolonged fight and they are far from dead. I routinely remove hooks from their mouths at boat side using just a pair of needle nose pliers. Bulls and hammerheads will go at you with their last breath but most other species are not as aggressive. I cannot tell what kind of shark is but it looks like a lemon or sand, both of which are fairly mild in the aggression category.
