Know someone dog blew cruciate. Who recommend for TPLO. Not a hunting dog.

I'd recommend TAMU AND pre-arranging a rehab facility.
Whatever vet you consider, don't be shy: Ask how many TPLOs they perform a month. Ask if they work on performance dogs. Ask if they own the full compliment of TPLO jigs, guides, saws, etc. Too many vets are performing TPLO's without ever investing in all the necessary apparatuses. These are critical for the proper 3-axis cut and realignment of the tibia. There are TPLO horror stories all across the country.

Thank you. For a customer in that area. I met Dr Barclay Slocum a million years ago when I had a blf with bad elbows young. Wound up using Dr Howard who studied under him.

My vet friend is discussing a cooperative study with Dr. Howard to investigate the alarming number of failed TPLOs.
