The Blue Ridge Retriever Club will be hosting an owner-handler qualifying stake on Friday September 22nd, 2006.
We will host a Master hunt test on Saturday (which begins after the conclusion of the qualifying), and a Senior hunt test on Sunday as well.
The site of the event is Shady Grove Kennel, in Remington Virginia.
Event details can be found on the Entry Express website www.entryexpress.net
Please note that the Blue Ridge Retriever Club is a member of the Master National Retriever Club.
This will be a great opportunity for folks to try their hand at both games.
Hope to see you there!

I did not see the "Q" and 1 series of the Master... was running in Senior on Sunday.

From what I heard, the Master was a very nice test, no tricks, well thought out and well judged. I heard that somewhere in the range of 15 to 20 passed the Master.... again heresay.

Opening series of the Senior was an "attention getter". Flyer, left to right, in cover almost to your knees, "go" bird right to left, well seperated, and a LB behind the right "go" bird. Brought back 15 or so to the water.

I believe 1 or 2 were lost on the water.

Blue Ridge Retriever Club did a very good job on their first AKC HT and handlers were very complimentary of the events! :D
