I have an issue that is really pissing me off. 3-4 weeks ago at a test my dog got a no bird on the go bird. We came back at the end and our day ended early with a break. My wife was marshalling the same stake and I helped out for the rest of the test day. Well I thought this would be a memorable lesson when my dog gets a front row view of the rest of the day's test. Ever since his attitude has been different in training. It seems to be a round-robin effect. One day he doesn't want to carry a line blinds. I lock him in and he runs his own line and bugs with his eyes. Then its marking. We run a triple mark and he nails the first two and runs straight out to the 3rd and just stops and pops. My friend says, "did you see that he didn't even try...that's not like him." Then we quarter and that was beautiful. Then we run a trail and he follows it great and quits half way there. Then he acts like he never heard "find it" and farts around and not use his nose. I hook him to a lead like I was teaching trailing for the first time and about half way out he drops his nose and wants to get it. It seems like we get one thing fixed and he screws around on soemthing else. Any thoughts?
