Once before I asked on RTF for those who have Goldens to send me some photos, and you did. I have used various ones to go with articles in the GRNews. There are some I still plan on using. A few have ended up as covers.
What I need and want are action photos, old Goldens working, young Goldens learning, hunt test scenarios, hunting scenes. I love seeing your dogs, but photos of a Golden sitting does not usually work in with an article on working. The more they catch the eye, the more likely they are to be used.
The photos needed have to be 300 dpi and big files---ie., lots of pixels! Photos that work being sent with an e-mail or on a web site, do not necessarily reproduce well in a magazine. Last time I got some awesome photos which couldn't be used because their size was too small for publication. Remember, 300 dpi and lots of pixels: 96 dpi and 600 x 400 pixels does not work.
Need: name of photographer, registered name of Golden, owner of the Golden.
If you have originals and do not know how to send them digitally, drop me a note as I could scan them for you.
