I have been having a bit of a problem with finding info using the search function. The two words I used that showed no results were "Fargo" and "whelping". I know there has to be several threads that mention both of these but they don't show up. Have some of the older trheads been deleted recently or what? Thanks, Travis

This issue came up in the thread about changing servers for RTF. Here is Steve's reply...

Doing a search only shows messages since the downtime and from 2004 on back.

All messages from 2005 and 2006 are missing?

The problem is the search index is over 1/2 the size of the database file - about 300Mb and that overloaded the server when we tried to import (hence the CPU warnings. It will probably rebuild itself over time. I tried to run a rebuild script on it and it took the server down a few minutes ago.

We'll see what happens.
