My 8 mo. old CLF at times stops and repositions the bird in her mouth.
Is this something to worry about.
Will force fetch fix it?
She does not do this with all the birds. About twice in five marks.

Don't worry about it now. And you don't have the tools to correct it yet. Yes, ff will clean this up.

What Wayne said . . . not a big deal right now.

Only thing I would add is that if your dog is lowing down or stopping, dropping the bird to readjust, or otherwise screwing around on the return, reinforce "here" and get them into heel as quickly as possible so that doesn't become a habit.
