Howard,

Thanks. I was happy Bullet, ummmm I mean Buttlet finished, too!!! I'm getting spoiled though - he keeps getting me ribbons, I'm going to hit hard when he blows up on me. Granted we weren't in the colors this weekend, but he finished and he is being consistant! :D

Any other news from other stakes?
Sorry, no. I do know Danny went into the 4th with 9 dogs out of 11 - Kenny Trott and Paul Knutson had the other 2.

So my guess is it was a "Danny show."

Frank,

Not too many details to give, he is just able to pick up all the chickens on a regular basis and I'm lucky and blessed that he can. This past weekend he looked like an average dog, did the work but didn't stand out - but I'll take going to the 4th everytime over heading home early - 7 out of 9 is not too shabby for us - but we still haven't stepped to the line against the big boys, that will be the true test! But I am going to enjoy this why I can, no doubt about it!! :D

Lainee, you have not stepped to the line in an all age stake against the current big boys. You have however, stepped to the line against some future big boys. Bullet held his own. If you train him right and handle him right he'll hold his own in the all age stakes too.

There's lots more very good dogs with very good training in the all age so he won't be going into the 4th as often, but he will get there.
