Is this weather dependent or are you good to go on the 19th no matter what?

(I got my very first HT pass (2nd HT I'd been to) at Nod Brook. FIVE no-birds & a break for lightning & pouring rain. I just assumed every HT ran like that & thought you people were crazy!! :) )

Thanks!

NOD BROOK MANAGEMENT AREA, Simsbury, CT DirectionsNod Brook Management Area is on Routes 10 & 202. 1.5 miles North of Avon Center (intersection of Rtes. 44. 10 & 202). The entrance is just North of the Simsbury/Avon lin-and the Northeast Utilities building. The entrance shares the driveway for the Tower Business Park. Look for the red stone walls. If you are coming South on Rtes. 10 & 202 look for the Tower Business Park entrance on the left after you pass an Agway store. From the West and South, take the Rte. 4 - Farmington exit off I-84. Go West on Rte 4 to Farmmgton center. Turn right on Rte.. 1CT(North). Follow Rte. 10 as it meets and takes a left turn with Rte. 44 and then meets and takes a right turn off Rt. 44 with Rt 202 at Avon Center. Tower Business Park and Nod Brook are 1.5 miles on the left. We do not recommend taking Rt. 44 through Hartford under any circumstances. From the East (Manchester to the Sturbridge area) take I-84 West to Exit 61 (1-291) West past 1-91 to Exit 1. Turn left at the stop light onto Rte. 218. Continue on Rte 218 to Rte. 185. turn right. Follow Rte. 185 West about 3 miles and across the river. Turn left on Rtes. 10 & 202 South. Tower Business Park and Nod Brook are 1.5 miles on left. From the North, there are two ways. You can pick up Rte. 10 in Westfield MA (Exit 3 -Mass Pike). Rte. 10 & 202 is hard to follow through Westfield -- watch signs carefully and follow it South into Connecticut and through Granby and Simsbury. OR, you can take the 1-91. Exit 42 (Bradley Airport exit) and follow Rte. 20 to Granby center where it intersects with Rte. 10 & 202. A left turn at Granby center will take you South on Rte. 10 & 202 toward Simsbury. Tower Business Park and Nod Brook are on the left.
