Exceptional blind running skills that can cover long and short distances. Ability to handle quickly. Excellent marking skills - ability to run both shorter marks as in a hunt test and longer marks under field trial conditions. Outstanding line manners and steady nerves since there are crowds and cameras. It is not easy but it is not as difficult as some things you might ask your girl to do. Go to an event and watch what is expected and how much of what they do lies on the shoulder of the handler.
