How many of you people that only run Hunt Tests use stickmen? If you do use them how often do you use them? I have used them since day one with my youngest dog, and I couldn't tell you if I can even tell a difference, I just use them cause I have read around that they do. I have had 2 people recently tell me to not use them so much. One was a respected pro who told me to just mix it up with them and without them, just stay balanced. And the other a experienced Amatuer Hunt Test trainer told me to put them up and never get them back out again as long as I am only running H.T. What's ya'lls opinions?

I have the daunting task of running both FT's and MH level hunt tests with my dog's and use a combination of both depending on the circumstances. I will definatly use the white stickemn whem it's an AA type of set-up or when a challenge exists for the dog and a white coat would help. I will use the stickem, but with camo sirts/coats drapped over them to better recreate the HT environment when the circumstances warrant it. As mentioned by your "pro" friends "yes" and "yes" is the answer! Balance and fore-thought to the day's training will dictate the typr of stickamn..
