I am looking for some info on FC AFC studs in the south besides Ford. I talked to Mr Sam already and would like to get some other feed back about other possible studs around me. I live in Bama.

A lot depends on when you intend to breed. There are many good stud dogs in the South during the Winter when the northern handlers come south for Winter training.

She is regular 1 time a year in Jan. on her down time Im trying to get a start on looking between training for the Grand at the end of the month and work. OFA is good and CNM was sent in last week so I have that out of the way.

What do you want to make better? What do you want to avoid? Is color a factor? Has she been bred before and results? Just a little more info on your dog would help those who could help you with an option or two.

FC/AFC Jake is in the Memphis area. Is that South enough? Jake doesn't throw black, yellows, or chocolates though, but IS qualified for both 07 Nationals! 8)

HRCH Plantation Night Ice Storm is her sire he is sired by NFC AFC Storm's Riptide Star. Her mother is a HRCH dog with nothing in the background.She is a hard charging black female on marks and runs just as hard on blinds. The only issue she has is on the intial leave to a mark and a blind she barks one time like she cant get there fast enough,so I dont want a stud that is vocal so that trait is not passed on. She just turned 3 last week and has never been bred so I cant go on past litters but apperciate all the input I can get.

I presume we are talking about HRCH Boomers Stormin Lil Abbygail. If I am correct, then I would agree with labraiser and would recommend AFC Coolwaters Ready To Go. Your bitch carries chocolate as does Ready so you should get a couple of chocolate pups mixed in with the blacks. You would also be doubling up on Webster's Honest Abe and that couldn't be too bad with all the great dogs he has sired.
