OK folks,

Jerry wants to know what you think.

I'm a Steeler fan. Since Nashville (TN) took 'dem stillers out, and Oakland shut 'em down, I'm looking for Oakland.

I'd like to see a close game. I'm predicting low points. Oakland 17 Tampa Bay 14.

I'm thinkin Jerry Rice gonna score a touchdown, then Warren Sapp gonna break his leg and Keyshawn will score a couple.

24-17 Tampa Bay

Tampa's D is gonna be too much for Oakland. Unless Gannon has a Phil Simm's type Superbowl (hard to do when you're running for your life and Pat Lynch has given all of your receivers concussions) Oakland is in for a long day.

It is a good thing that both of these teams are from warmer climates. The 80 degree temperatures could affect a team not used to these temperatures. I think Oakland will prevail, but I cannot pull for them.

There was a person training at Prado this week from North Pole, Alaska. Word has it that he and Labs were suffering greatly in the heat. Apparently the dogs' coats are much heavier than ones from these parts.
We will see how they do in our HT/D/Q next weekend out in the desert.

Tell the handler to use an alcohol bath for both handler and dog after each series.

Do you recommend the handler use the alcohol internally or externally?

ROFLMAO, for me it would probably be internally, at least in training.

I always have a spray bottle in my truck because I use it to clean CD's on my juke boxes. A "spritz" on the wrists, back of neck, sometimes on top of my head, works really well.

For the dogs I mix it with water, sponge it on and tie them out (only recently) or just walk them around for a few minutes.

Thank Goodness I was wrong about Warren Sapp breaking the leg of Jerry Rice. Keshawn didn't do squat but who would have thought that Oakland was gonna "lay down"?

Jerry-thinking Len was closest in his prediction

If Romo can stay healthy, Cowboys offense will be unstoppable.
LOL....this is a thread from 2003

So cool to be able to read some of Unca Jer's old posts. Thought the world of him and miss him terribly!
