I heard that they had to run the blind first and the marks are poison birds. The channel blind was between the marks. Very tight. Dogs dropping like flies.

David Jensen won the Q with Kingston's Black Ruger owned by Kelli Kane. This makes three Q wins for David in three weeks with two different dogs, both owned by Kelli. Big congratulations to David and Kelli.

tar heel

Third series was a line blind with the last portion of it requiring the dog to run down the center of a ditch to reach the end of the blind . 109 in the first/second series down to 30. My dog was one of the 30 but didn't want to stay in the ditch. That's all I know.

Tar Heel did not offer a derby at the Spring trial this year.

Full results for the other stakes will be available soon on Entry Express.
