The Texas Panhandle Hunting Retriever Club will be hosting a NFRA field test this October 15-16 at Greenbelt Lake near Clarendon, Texas. This will probably your last chance to qualify for NFRA's nationals.

We will host a double Open, Master, Senior, Derby, and Junior. The Premium of the test can be downloaded from:

http://www.rw.ttu.edu/JBRUNJES/NFRA_Premium2005_red.pdf

Please also use the editible entries contained at the following address:

http://www.rw.ttu.edu/JBRUNJES/nfraENTRY.pdf

We look forward to having lots of folks out...tests at Greenbelt are always fun and challenging. The fall colors should be very nice as well.

If you have any questions please contact me via PM or email

Hey John,

Its Robert, I cant wait till the test. I think I am going to have to stay and watch some when I deliver the ducks because I dont think we will be driving back Friday night when it takes 5 hours to get there. We will stay there and watch the dogs run. I met JC today and I think I am goingto watch him run and hang out, and have fun! Our ducks are ready to go. They were flying everywhere when JC and I were out there catching them. They will be great!

A huge THANK YOU to our judges, Laura Baar, Adam Brown, Charles Kitten, Kelley Knight, and Philip Turman; the members of TPHRC; the Clarendon Boy Scouts; and all the folks who came out and ran dogs and helped out.

Robert - the ducks were great!

I am so proud of all our members who've worked so hard this year training their dogs. You guys are great.

And I'm about to bust with pride over my husband and his big yella dog. Marlin finished his Master Field Retriever title this weekend (with 2 FTWS!!!!) and got his 1st Open pass. Not bad for a 3 1/2 year old dog that 2 years ago we thought would never get his WR, much less his MHR and MFR!

Sorry...I've been in Kentucky looking for a place to live so I haven't seen this before.

Thanks a bunch Shayne...the yella dog really has come so far....in spite of me. He had a really nice weekend. QAA...here we come :D :D :D

I also would very much like to thank our judges and our club members. Everyone busted butt to make sure things went as smoothly as possible. Thanks to all those folks who came from out of town and ran their dogs and helped as well!!!!
