Looking out the window at the two young dogs that are getting ready for their morning workout. Billy the Lab, 10 months old and full of himself, looking for his Ray Bans no doubt and in general just feeling so good he can hardly stand himself. Max the Chessie, 11 months old, looking for his hard hat lacing up his boots and waiting patiently to go to work. They couldn't be more different in their approach and couldn't be more fun to train. Happy Good Friday.

i have two lab pups. one says to me each day "what would you like me to do today?" the other says "i know what we are doing today!"
the first has mostly good days, the other gets real confused when its not what he thought!

Interesting. I have one that requires a level 15 heeling stick correction (on a scale of 1-10) to get a lasting change in behavior. I have another that a NO, HERE, HEEL, will do the same job. Good thing one is yellow and the other is black so I won't get them mixed up.

I use to have a saying about my dogs. If someone broke into my house and all the dogs were in crates the following saying would come from the dogs:

Zeus-(Black lab)- If you let me out, I ll run away and never tell a soul you were here.

Midas- (Yellow lab)-Come here, open this up and I ll rip your arm off and beat you with it for messing with my owner.

Then there is Sadies- (Choc-female)- I tell you what, you open that barrel of dog food up and spill it on the floor, I ll show you where all the diamonds, the guns, and the cash is.

Boy that really described the three of them.
