Keith, I'm just envious that you're able to remember 1978. :wink:

Many of the original thoughts were used up a long time ago. I sometimes appreciate them being recycled through and being brought to my attention.

I confess, the first time I heard about his sister's injured horse being shot as part of the healing process, and the plan that if he didn't get better soon, they were going to have to shoot him again, I laughed until I feared I would wet my pants.....

Larry use to do a local morning radio program in Tulsa that was hysterical and his stand up routine at the local comedy club would have you in tears. Of all the Blue Collar guys he is defiantly the funniest.

Speaking of re-cycling, many of those I first heard from the far out mind of Steven Wright. Not to take anything away from Larry TCG, he is a hoot.

This sorta parallels the bits by Ted Nugent about being an American, that in circulation got attributed to all sorts of different celebs. The worst being Andy Rooney of all people. He and the 'Nuge' couldn't be further apart.
