I like to toss a few bumpers and work on sit and walking on a line, AKA Hillman, with my pup in the morning whens the best time to do it. Should I air him out, work with him then feed him or is it better to feed first wait 1/2 hour to 1 hour then do the bumpers or does it not make a difference. Just wondering what others are doing.

I toss first, allow cool down, then feed.

Since you use the word "toss" I'm assuming you aren't doing full blown training setups and/or long distances. If that's the case, I don't think it matters.

Regardless, I'd be more apt to give the dog a rest immediately after it's filled it's belly.

i try to train between 530-6 and feed between 630-7 unless its just blazing hot (like its been last couple days. 105 yesterday) then i feed at 6 and train at 730

i will agree he seems to train harder when he's hungry. plus he sees his food and water as a reward for a job well done i think
