Here are a few pics from a training session yesterday:

We love our frozen ducks...

A job well done.

Hope you enjoyed! :)

Loved the pics & now you're going to think I'm a B**ch! Have you ever watched the Rorem handling DVDs? They are great for making you aware of having the dog properly aligned.

Miriam-

I don't think you're a b**ch, I'm always open to constructive criticism :).

I noticed that when I got the pics back, too. I think a lot of it has to do with the angle that the pics were taken.

Her body is actually lined properly with mine, but it was VERY windy that day, and the bumper was being blown off-line, so her head is a bit off and I'm trying to extend her marking distance. So, I'm less concerned with her being lined properly for a mark right now as I am her actually marking it accurately.

She's also just a hunting dog...not so much a test dog. If she's marking and picking up birds, that's fine by me. But, I will look into those DVDs. My next dog will be a test dog, so I'll have to make sure I'm doing it correctly, right? Thanks for the suggestion!
