If you use the Pro Control G3 on your winger, you have probably broken the little black snap latch that holds it to the frame and you're using a bungee cord or Velcro. I was surprised that Garmin did not offer replacements nor could tell me where they could be found. After exhaustive research, I have found a supplier of the little black snap latch "thingys" that hold the receiver onto the winger frame. Here is the supplier and part numbers. Shipping is more expensive than the parts if you order just a few. Would be nice if these were stocked by a training supply company (hint, hint, hint).

I used to horde these things and turn on plugs like crazy (still have a box of turn on plugs) but ever since Zinger introduced me to that magic Canadian velcro, that is what I use.

I have simply used 2 zip ties to attach my receivers to the wingers. The receiver is never removed, and I haven't lost one yet. I remove the antennas and store them in my equipment bag each time.

The hook and loop things, not actually called Velcro, is made by 3M. Used to have to go to radio shack or find them on line. Way to expensive through Zinger. Now can be bought at Home Depot and by far the easiest most efficient way to go. Just have to change them about once a year. Tried the bungee ball thing and to me was a big PIA.
