I tried doing a search with little results. What could i use to prevent dead spots from urine in my backyard. I have a big guy that can do some damage quickly. Thanks in advance.

There's some stuff called Green-um that you add to the dog's food and supposedly neutralizes the ammonia and prevents burning the grass.
This is not a testimonial as I've never used it, but people have told me it works.

watering a bunch or every other day seems to work.Had a dog that did same thing and turned sprinklers on every othe day for a bit and my yard was awesome and no more spots.
