Hey,

Hope all is well, I havent posted in a longtime. Zoey is 1 yrs old now!
I have a quick question, I was looking into giving Zoey these vitamins to prevent her urine from ruining the lawn.

Has anyone used them, are they safe, and if so which to use?

Thanks,

jOey

I don't have any proof of the cuase/effect but I have 3 females on a lawn with few yellow grass issues. They get Vit C every day

The fact is that the lawn yellows because of the "over fertilization" effect of the urine in the grass. The sure way is to water the urine areas, not something I have the timeor patience for.

When client's come in our clinic and ask us about urine spots and what they can do. We tell them that the products out on the market are a waist of money. It is the acid in the urine that kills the grass. The kind of diet you are feeding may effect the acidity of the urine. You might try changing food and seeing if that doesn't make a difference. Or you can water down the spots as previously mentioned.

I have intact females that kill grass like crazy  It's because they can concentrate large volumes of urine in the same spot unlike a male who will spray and try to mark upright items. The amonia or something is responsible for it, anyway's the only way to fix it is to build a dog run and teach them to go in there to do thier business. Welcome to dog ownership

Maybe thats why your yard looks like this. Say where did you get the riding lawnmower and how did you talk Terry into letting you upgrade mowers..?
