Awhile back Ken Bora brought up the idea of using videos on RTF.I haven't seen many posted since then. Here is Otter training earlier today.I know all you pros out there can critique the crap out of us but this is just for the pure fun of watching a dog run.Our problems lately have been dealing mostly with line manners.Barking, whining, creeping all at once.It was pretty ugly. This is how we did tonight.I hope others will post some videos too.I'd like to see them.

Enjoyed the video. Wish more folks would post them. I would post an OB vid that I took but, don't feel like reading the critique responses :) for I'm just getting into it. I'de rather learn from ya'lls.
Aw, what the heck......let me have it. I need all the help I can get. She's only 7 mo. old now.

all I can add, think about heeling both sides. A great tool to have, and only 7 months old it is not too late to start mixing it in. I always learn something watching you guys from the South. Never realized Hear was a two syllable word.

One thing I see is when the dog is heeling, and you stop and the dog sits, then you step ahead and want the dog to heel again, or continue sitting. Besides the verbal commands, you can que the dog by which foot steps forward first. If you want the dog to heel again, step forward with the left foot first. If you want the dog to remain sitting, step forward with the right foot first. After ALOT of repetition and consistency, the dog will learn that left foot first means heel, and right foot first means continue sitting. It reinforces the verbal commands.
