Well,

Peyton finally passed her first junior test yesterday. She did really well on her marking, and didn't really put up any long hunts. Her lines to the bird were good, but her delivery to hand was lacking. She got it done though, so now to work on the delivery with wet ducks... Either way, I was without a doubt doing a happy dance last night.

Thanks again to the Hill's Ferry HRC, and some great judges( BHB, here on RTF was one), who wanted everyone to have a good time. They mixed a water and land mark with each series, which I though was very cool.

Melanie, thanks for working with me last fall and talking me into putting off a test until we were more prepared. Congrats on Lookie getting ready to have pups, and I will be in touch in the next few days.. I think I may try the test coming up in a few weeks up at Denverton.
