Anyone going to the hunt test at WCO on the 21,22nd? I'll be headed there for the first time. Was wondering what type of ground or water to expect? Heard they have some nice flooded timber that they have used in the past. Hoping for a good time......

BTW, Ill be running seasoned.

I'll be there running finished with my young Kicker dog. They have access to some great grounds. Normally seasoned has a great flooded timber test. Depending alot on how high the river is. A great bunch of people you will be impressed!

I will be there, but as a spectator. Gonna watch the dog I'm using as a stud. Should be a good time.

Looks like some cool weather with some showers at times. Break the heavy clothes, hats, and gloves back out and bring extras!

Friday Night: Showers likely, mainly after 10pm. Cloudy, with a low around 44. Chance of precipitation is 70%.

Saturday: A chance of showers. Cloudy, with a high near 51. Chance of precipitation is 50%.

Saturday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 36.

Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 55.

You all in West Central Ohio Retriever club should be congratulated. What a great test and good set ups. The event ran smoothly and quick on Sunday. Everyone nice. Thanks again!!! especially to our 2 judges Flight B.

Went home State Road 235 and saw some lovely countryside in Ohio. Very nice and picturesque and CLEAN! You should be proud in Ohio, even the I75 was clean. Stopped in ADA and ate at McD's:) and that has some lovely older homes.Too bad about the church there. Looks like a fire. Stopped at small shops when I could. Great place Ohio!Had a nice visit and it was even better with the pass Tar achieved!:) Thank you!

Let's see. Down the hill, angle entry into a channel, down the channel, past two points, one from the right and one from the left, then across open water, back on land to the bird. It was awesome! Did I forget anything Josh?

I had enough trouble trying to run seasoned for the first time ever. I don't want to think about trying to run a finished / master test. Carolyn and her dogs make it look easy, impressive stuff !

My other new pup did crush started tho. Fun stuff and can't stop thinking about next test.

It was not in a gravel pit Sunday. At least it did not look it.

Depends on what flight you were...all the finished dogs would have run it at some point during the weekend IF you ran both days.....if you ran the gravel pit saturday, then you would have ran in the wetlands by lewistown on sunday, and vise versa.

Think you got it all Gary....except the sandwich suction....LOL

I love ya Josh. Been in the chair for about 18 years and thought I had seen it all :p!! You added something new to the book I'll write when I retire. Tell Benelli that there will be no charge at the deli next year. What a dog!! Can refuel on the run! Look forward to seeing you soon. Probably at Backwater in June.
