We start all of our pups on the 49th day after birth. That is we make sure the pup is in our home and bonding with us for the first week and then we start socializations and basic commands. Just was wondering what the time line is for the rest of the RTF people.

I start "training" and "socialization" as soon as I get my hands on the pup which is at birth if the litter is whelped here.

Pups are introduced to water at the edges of our pond around 4-5 weeks of age, clipped wings, all different types of sights & sounds, etc in the back yard and field, etc.

Basic puppy obedience is started as soon as 1) I determine which pup I am keeping (usually by 7 wks of age) or when the pup arrives from the breeder (7-8 wks of age).

More obedience is started as the pup is maturing. FF/cc is normally started around 6 months of age.
