Can you guys and trainers please help. My trainer is doing a really good job, but she is really busy and I don't like to bother her very much. While watching a video she sent to me I noticed she was traning Bailey to heal on the left side. For 95% of the population that is fine, but I am one of the 5% that is left handed. I know she asked a lot of questions when I dropped her off 6 weeks ago. We talked about hunting out of a boat and weather I wanted her to compete, but the left handed thing never came up. I just sent her a note to give her the heads up.

My question is can anyone give me an idea of anything else I need to let her know...


Bailey is doing great so I can't say too much. I should have known to mention it.

Heeling on both sides and remotely is a nice asset for a gun dog. She may be starting the dog on the left and adding right side and remote later?

I shoot left handed as well. My dog heels on the left. Never bothered me or him.

Ditto. Never been a problem for us either.
