Found this while searching Rattlesnake vaccines. Are there any other states that have this law ?

This would for sure be true. TN has it in law that you pretty much can't take any wild animal, unless it has a season to be hunted/trapped/taken.

Not only can't you kill em, they don't want you bringing em to church anymore.

The State Code in Tennessee, section 39-17-101, makes it an offense "for a person to display, exhibit, handle, or use a poisonous or dangerous snake or reptile in such manner as to endanger the life or health of any person."

I know in Ohio you are not legally allowed to kill rattle snakes. I thinks its a $10,000 fine if your caught killing one.

I'm pretty sure in Pa. you aren't allowed to kill rattlesnakes either. I think you can catch them alive and release them, and I think you need a fishing license to do it.

I read somewhere that the snakes are an indicator. Healthy snake population, healthy environment.

Everything has a purpose... Although I don't know what ticks are here for.
