Found this while searching Rattlesnake vaccines. Are there any other states that have this law ?

This would for sure be true. TN has it in law that you pretty much can't take any wild animal, unless it has a season to be hunted/trapped/taken.

In Georgia, you can't take or kill any non-venomous snakes, but you can catch, keep, kill, or whatever you want to do with any of the poisonous snakes.

It's illegal to kill venomous or nonvenomous snakes in Arkansas. I didn't believe this until I checked the law. Cottonmouths are safe in the Natural State!

Not only can't you kill em, they don't want you bringing em to church anymore.

The State Code in Tennessee, section 39-17-101, makes it an offense "for a person to display, exhibit, handle, or use a poisonous or dangerous snake or reptile in such manner as to endanger the life or health of any person."

I know in Ohio you are not legally allowed to kill rattle snakes. I thinks its a $10,000 fine if your caught killing one.

I'm pretty sure in Pa. you aren't allowed to kill rattlesnakes either. I think you can catch them alive and release them, and I think you need a fishing license to do it.

I read somewhere that the snakes are an indicator. Healthy snake population, healthy environment.

Everything has a purpose... Although I don't know what ticks are here for.
