I can't remember the name of the book, but it is supposed to be a good book to read.

Morgan book.....

You're probably referring to the book 'Charles Morgan On Retrievers' which was published in 1968 by Abercrombie and Fitch......although training methods have changed, it's still a great book and fun to read.......you should be able to find a copy with a search on EBay or one of the dealers in sporting books.........good luck!
