Chad, count yourself lucky if gas is getting cheaper! Ours was too, until yesterday when my gas light went on - was mortified when i pulled up to the pump.

Kjrice: I think I'm in love with you for coming up with that Avatar!!!!!
LOL!

For those feeding Victor, how much is a 40lb bag?

Really all? What type of food "human " in a balanced diet can you buy for $1.50 a pound? I am betting no one here would eat it ! It is still pretty reasonably for what they "the dogs" do for us. So we spend another $75.00 annually on our companions arent they worth it?

OH NO!!! It's spreading!

BTW, I can order Euk 30/20 straight to my door through Wag.com for about $8 under what I pay at Petco. I'm sparing the air by not driving but the delivery man is not!

BHB
Their higher then what i pay.

The price of every food has gone up. You won't escape price increase for quality food in this economy. Gas prices, energy prices, meat prices, grain prices... all up and effect the cost of dog food etc.
.
If I change a couple of words in this quote "The price of every food has gone up. You won't escape price increase for ANY food in this economy" Gas prices alone have gone from $1.84 in WY now up to 4.09 here in MI since Oba took office.

It is not hard to extrapolate how fuel prices effect transportation of goods costs to consumer prices.

If you like where we are at then get out to vote on Nov 7th.

If you don't like our economy or financial future get out to vote on Nov 6.

My local feed store sells the regular Victor for $32.99 for a 40lb bag. The grain free Victor is $39.99 for a 30lb bag. I switched to the grain free because my oldest dog has elbow dysplasia and grain actually promotes the growth of arthritis in the joints. He limps a lot less since switching to the grain free stuff. $40 for a 30lb bag is not cheap but you get better quality than foods that cost much more.

Euk's price went up several months ago at my TSC. No Victor in my area so I switched to PMI Exclusive. Cost $33.85 for a 35lb bag of the 26/15 chicken and rice formula. At my local coop buy 8 get 1 free so cost averages out closer to $30/bag. My dog is doing great on it too.
