I posted a litter on a duck hunting forum, someone sent me an email asking for first pick male. "I would like to pick the pup up in the first week, my wife will bottle feed the pup from that moment forward, they make better dogs this way"

I responded with, not only are the pick male and female spoken for, that is probably the oddest request I have ever heard and no you cannot

Anyone ever heard of this

Wow---- I hear a new one every day.... somebody will actually believe him and do it.

He wants a dog that has no social capabilities, I would ask him how his other dogs he has raised are around other people and dogs I bet they are not nice

Don't say no till he sends you a pic of his wife. If she's going to be living with you for six weeks or so.... Never mind:rolleyes:

A couple of years ago we were looking at getting a small dog. After doing some due diligence we decided to look at Border Terriers. I went to the breed site & got the names of several breeders that I then contacted by by E-mail noting that we wanted a female, to be spayed @ 6 months, & wanted the pup in our possession @ 49 days. Something I considered a reasonable request. We also stated the dog did not have to be a perfect specimen, just representative of the breed. The responses ranged from R U deranged, we would never send our pups home @ 49 days, they are still nursing to the female needs to have a litter before spaying. So the wack jobs are all not always the customers. What I did learn is don't go after fairly new breeds :). We ended up with a mini pinscher & love her dearly. For a lot less output from the billfold .

Not at my house , besides the fact it is likely illegal ...(in most states)
