If you are looking for an answer for AKC, see http://images.akc.org/pdf/rulebooks/RDMSC4.pdf This covers all AKC events. It deals with the forms of misconduct and specifies how charges are to be handled. In the back there are tables that explain the various kinds of misconduct and the penalties for each.

No not me. Just wondering what some of the things people do to get themselves banned or suspended. Never been witness to something like that so just wondering what you've seen out there.
AND , you don't want to be a part of it ...It sure is no fun to file charges....Our club had an incident many years ago and the committee was called and info gathered ...no charges filed ...not fun at all .....Steve S

witnessed a guy THROWING his dog into the brush at an HRC Seasoned test when they left the line because he couldn't get the dog under control. another witness happened to be a judge and the chairman of the club. Myself and a couple other bystanders had to sign a statement. He was asked to leave the test grounds and suspended.

Might have been better to keep him on the grounds for a little while till he cooled off, feel for the dog thrown in the brush. Tough decisions.

I can empathize with wanting to do what that guy did, along with ringing of the neck, particularly in training. But some things you just can't do whether in training or at a test.

Was a hearing held?

I think I heard of that. I also heard that he just lost his cool and that he felt bad about it, BUT I can't verify that.

I've been to one hearing, trainer reported of supposed abuse for carrying a screaming dog back to a kennel after she had run across the road and joined the clubs evening festivities. I don't know what else your supposed to do when there's no collar, or leash to be found anywhere. Turned out to be my dog, the trainer had told people she would scream before he grabbed her, and scream she did, but I still got to testify to such the next day, nice to own a drama queen. Still accusations are not something to mess around with everyone had to go to the hearing, the AKC rep was called back from the airport, papers had to be filed and signed, Big & bad Jew Jew, Hope to never be involved in such again.

Here's one:

You can not call out a judge no matter how much of a jerk he is and the trial or test is not over after the last dog has run. The event starts on a curtain date and is not over until the last calender date. Trust me I know.

I only know of 1 person who was suspended and that was because he had a dog that got into repeated fights on test grounds.
He's a good guy, but he shouldn't have been running the dog after the 1st incedent.

Don't think that didn't cross my mind...
