scientific study on delaying spay to 12-14mo

I haven't been able to find this article--looking for the scientific paper on growth plates, etc recommending not spaying until at least 1 year old.

If anyone can send me the link that would be great.

Here's a very comprehensive article that discusses spay/neuter at length, with a gazillion references at the end that you can look into if you want. You can just skip to the "conclusions" part if you don't want to read the whole thing.
