I bought a kennel-in-a-box to get by for a few months. The kennel that I bought can be set up as either 10' X 10' or 5'X15'. Either configuration works equally well in the space that I will be using. I'm leaning toward the long and narrow vs the square thinking that the dog might move more in a longer kennel. On the other hand I'd get a lot more square footage out of the square configuration. Any thoughts?

Use the long configuration. Put the dog's house, food and water at one end. The dog will tend to eliminate at the other.
