You don't need a dog standing up completely in my opinion. My deerskin is 40 deep, 23 wide and probably 24 inch tall holes. Plenty of room for even bigger dogs, I just cant do 32 inches deep.

My MTCK trailer holes are 28"X33" and 28" tall. I've got dogs from 65lbs to 100lbs and they all ride comfortably. I can peek in through the breezeway and my 100lb bitch will be laying in there on her back enjoying the fan. 32" may or may not be deep enough but I think the width plays a part as well when the holes really aren't that deep.

How does everyone feel about 32 deep, 22 tall and 23 wide for box/trailer hole sizes?
That's the size holes I have for my American Water Spaniels, except mine are 20" wide. Probably too small for most Labs.

My boxes are 24"h x 28" w x 32" l and all the labs I have worked with seem to fit fine - but there was one dog that is around d 115 lb that didn't seem comfortable in there but the majority of the dogs I work are below the 85 lb mark

My custom 2-hole Deerskin is 23h x 23w x 34.5L. Works perfect. Male 70# Female 55#. The more room they have to move around the more chance they have of getting hurt while you're running around at a HT or FT. They'll get the exercise when they air out and work.
