My puppy is 5 months old and has been doing good with sit, stay and heel. But last week I was starting to throw her some bumpers and she just out of the blue would not go after any of them.Next 2 days she done like she always have but know she want go after a bumper again.I don't know if she is teething or what is wrong.Any advice is appreciated. Thanks

Two things possible:
Bored
Teething

Did you look in her mouth? Any redness around gums, missing teeth, blood on bumper?
She is about the age for teething.

How many bumpers is she getting each day?

I have been giving her 4 to 5 bumpers leaving her hungry for more.I just checked her mouth and she has big teeth in the very back and front but in between it looks like she has teeth just coming through and they are pink to red around them. She did great getting bumpers yesterday and today she wanted to but she would not get any of them.

Couple of things:
Might want to just work on ob until new teeth come in.
Or get a bumper that is soft . Bill Hillman used the ones made of tennis ball material to work through teething. Another suggestion is the small size paint rollers. They are very light, cheap and soft towel like material.

I vote for waiting it out.

In any event, this pup needs real birds and lots of them. That doesn't mean you should throw too many marks in a session. It just mean she'll do better on birds. Throw real birds every day if you can. Even a dog that is teething won't tend to mind birds. Most heavily favor them over anything!

Yeah I would just give her a little time off until she is ready for force fetch at this point. It should make her bumper starved going into force fetch and that isn't a bad thing. Also, if you ever want to get together for some training I'm always available. Do you still have my number.
