PETA is like the 14 year old 6th grade bully when he's all grown up and never got married and drinks alone at he bar.
No body cares, or is slightly pleased when he gets too drunk and mouths off to the wrong guy and ends up crawling on the floor in a puddle of blood.
The only people who pay attention are those who don't know him. After a short while even they shake their heads while walking away.

PETA is a laughingstock.

They may be a laughingstock, but they are our greatest adversary. ;)

Kind of thought the AKC is a laughingstock after their Vice President went on TV preaching the evils of the E-collar.

I think the Humane Society is a greater threat than PETA. They are not as "out there" as PETA, smoother more compassionate looking advertisements, grab the heart strings and all that. Join up with them and for only $19/month you'll be saving this poor abused dog's life and provide him the veterinary care he needs... when in truth, they just use the money to lobby legislatures for more and more restrictive statutes.

Agreed. People don't view Humane Society as a political machine like they do PETA
