Does anyone feed this bag of PP? I have an older dog that doesn't seem to do as well with PPP.

I feed PPP Chicken & Rice Performance 30/20. Lately I have been purchasing the bags in Canada b/c of the dollar difference right now. Same food though in Canada. & excellent. Have no issues except they want more!!!
Pic of my 13yo checking the fridge out!! You may have to try different kinds Be careful when you do switch to do it slowly.

What sort of issues are you having that he does not do well?? Not sure about brown rice in Performance So is it Sport you are feeding??

PP Sport All Life Stages 26/16. Just his coat doesn't seem to do as well and periodically seems like he will get a problem with his stool where he get a little diarrhea. Put him on Dr Tims and he seemed to gain a ton of weight. Funny enough Diamond Naturals Chicken and Rice seems to work okay. Just don't trust it. Maybe its the corn in the PP.

Hate to state the obvious, but if your dog was doing well on Dr. Tims except for weight gain, just make sure you measure with a measuring cup and feed less of Dr. Tims. It is a good quality calorie dense food, so you can feed less. That makes sense to me. And as a bonus feeding less saves you money because bag lasts longer.

I did not see much of a coat change on Dr. Tims. I am looking for opinions on PP, thanks anyway.

I have seen coat changes with Dr. Tims Momentum.
I have seen best coat changes with Orijen 6 fish, a high in Salmon food, very expensive.
If you want to stick with PP then I would try their Salmon performance food. I know people who have had good luck with skin and coat issues on the Salmon performance.

Well I did a 360 and ordered a bag of Eukenuba 28/16 from Chewy's today. We will see how it goes. When I say weight gain, I don't know if it was so much of that or if he was just bloat. I was only giving him 3 cups and then cut down to 2 1/2 cups. He just seem to look bloated and had some gas. Now this dog is a 91 lb male. We feed 2 bags of the Dr. Tims and my other young female ended up having gastritis about a week after coming home from the trainers. She had always been on pro plan since she started eating dry food as a puppy. I have no idea if the gastritis was related to Dr Tims. Just not the best experience for $64.99.

I'm going to give the Sport 30/20 salmon and rice a try, young dog seems to have some skin issues.
Wishing I could get that in Canada. Used to go stateside for this. Excellent. Fed it w/ PPP performance 30/20. Short lived when our dollar dropped.

There is another little know option out there also. Precise Endurance. No corn wheat or soy. I had thought that Dr Tims was the only 30/20 without it. I just purchased two bags for my pregnant girl. Will see how it does, but it's really close to Pursuit. I have friends with labs using the other Precise foods with good success.

Just thought you'd like another 30/20 option. Small company out of Texas that has been around for a long time.
