My lab who is almost 8 years old seems to be suffering from separation anxiety. If we leave him in the house he will pee. This is not an accident thing its more like a worried or mad thing. Also if we put him upstairs while my wife babysits he constantly paces very fast. Its like he cant relax he just paces back and forth until he works himself up to a pant and I force him to lay down. Has anyone been through this that can offer some incite please. My wife says she is tired of cleaning pee and we tried to put him back in the kennel and even that's not working. He constantly looks like he is on edge and stressed to the max.

Thanks in advance for any help

There is a dog dimetia that can cause this type of behavior. Sounds like you need to start with a complete physical. If all is normal, you could try the Thunder Shirt before trying medication.

I would not be leaving him loose in the house--you should crate him when you know he will be anxious.

Go the vet and get a workup done, including blood, thyroid, prostate, etc. You need to rule out medical causes.

If all checks out I will say the thunder shirt worked, that was my thread. In my pups first road trip to a master test, in the big trailer, he had no accidents no throwing up nothing. Was amped when he got there but it solved a major Dirieha issue on that truck.
