I was curious about some dogs in recent history (let's say in the last 20 years) that went on to earn FC or AFC from a "humble" pedigree. Which I'll qualify as saying no FC or AFC in at least 2 generations and take it a step further and even say no QAA in at least one generation.

Let's hear some stories!

I'm following a dog that meets this criteria right now with 2 Am wins and 11.5 pts, but isn't AFC. . . . yet.

A smart owner who followed the advice of a still smarter amateur FT trainer and handler. Saw her place in an Amateur as a Derby dog. West Thompson , Ct.

There used to be a better pedigree on her. Lots of FT in background. I was at Sauvie Island and watched a number of series at the National Am she won.
I stand corrected. Trial stuff back a ways. Here is what I found online ( pedigree not pasting well-sorry):

Here's the pedigree of the dog I was referencing. Its neat to follow/find dogs like this that doesn't have the most elite pedigree. She just qualified for the NARC this past weekend.
