the handlers DON'T GET TO VOTE on when they run
I agree with you 100% Keith.

But I still feel it is not the judges responsiblity to enforce the running order. If the marshall, backed by FT committtee, wants to send the dogs to the line in a different order, the judge must judge or step down.

No different than a situation this fall when a judge decided he would decide which dogs were medically fit to run his stake.

I would like to reply.........but...........I won't......errr....can't. Well I could, but I won't. Bash on brothers!
please let me know when you run your inaugural hunt test/field trial/wienie dog race or whatever it is you choose to run. I want to be there with a full cooler to observe the different stages of a meltdown and subsequent banning and how the whole process works.

IF this really happened, please tell those of us with no knowledge where it happened and who was judging. I for one hate always reading these supposedly true scenarios that are written about so vaguely.
I would hope that any "identifying" information would be done through PMs.

Vicky's plan has worked pretty well so far for anyone who wants to know. Even got one PM from someone that ran the same trial last year and was even suspect then of a situation or two.

All about the info regards,

Mr. Keith will you please send me a PM on the "Identifying" information! I dislike getting "facts" by PM. PM's should be reserved for rumours and jokes and stuff like that! Not for facts! If somebody is guilty, they are guilty from the time they do it. NOT innocent untill proven guilty by a court of law/AKC! There is not always to sides to every story ......

Lawerin' regards,
Arturo

Keith,
do you think someone at the AKC is reading this? do you think they will have a representative on the grounds next year? Will somebody call them? How does the AKC know to send folk to x or y trial or test?

I know a couple of the Performance Events reps that cruise through here from time to time. They are pretty attentive when situations like this are pointed out to them.

Many times they do plan to visit clubs/judges where they've heard of improprieties occuring but no complaint has been filed. The internet is a GREAT source of all kinds of information. They're usually pretty good at separating the BS from the RS.

Most intelligent thing he has posted here or else where.

I feel sorry for his dog if he even has one. Just plain old bad luck for the pup.

Ever heard of Clean Run's 60 Pole Challenge? Here's a video:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yiW1rcdVLQE&NR=1 14.45 seconds

My friend, Chris Parker (http://www.speedoggie.com), had a Golden that held the record at 11.04 seconds for about a year, until her BC, Mayhem broke it in 9.54 seconds in 2000.I think he still holds the record.

Chris has a great method for training weave poles, which includes WAM (weave-a-matic). Check it out: http://www.speedoggie.com/Weavepole Training Method revised.doc
